
Barbara Miller, RN, Nurse Advocate
Barbara had worked as a hospice nurse for the six years preceding joining Burzynski Elder Law and has had many years of emergency nursing experience as a Trauma Nurse designee in Chicago, Los Angeles and Naples. Originally from Chicago she received her Baccalaureate Degree in Nursing in 1963. She recently completed the University of Florida certificate program for Care Coordinators. In addition to her hospice experience she also was the program manager for a Wound Care Center in Bonita Bay. For the last nine years, Barbara has been an examiner for the Circuit Court for public and private Guardianships. She is very active in the community and has served as the President of CAMEO, an association for associates marketing for elder options, and has been a member of the Board of Directors for the Area Agency on Aging.
Barbara enjoys activities that include her dogs. Two are AKC Champions and the new puppy from France-a French hound. One of Barbara's goals is to establish a Pet Hospice Program for Collier County residents. Barbara enjoys gourmet cooking, needlework and glass fusion. She serves on the Board for the Grand Bassett Griffon Vendeen Club of America. Contact Barbara Miller.
