
Barbara Miller, RN, Nurse Advocate
Barbara has worked as a hospice nurse for the past six years and has many years of emergency nursing experience as a Trauma Nurse designee in Chicago, Los Angeles and Naples. Originally from Chicago she received her Baccalaureate Degree in Nursing in 1963. In addition to her hospice experience she also was the program manager for a Wound Care Center in Bonita Bay. For the last five years, Barbara has been an examiner for the Circuit Court for public and private Guardianships. She is very active in the community and served as the Past President of CAMEO, an association for associates marketing for elder options, and also is a member of the Board of Directors for the Area Agency on Aging.
Barbara enjoys activities that include her 2 dogs. They are AKC Champions and ambassadors for the Avow Hospice PAWS Program. One of Barbara's goals this year is to establish a Pet Hospice Program for Collier County residents. Barbara enjoys gourmet cooking, needlework and is on the Boards for the Greater Naples Dog Club and on the Board for the Grand Bassett Club of America. Contact Barbara Miller.
